Pastor Jeremy Carr
Jeremy Carr was born in Germany. He and his wife, Jenny, were married in 2003 and have three children, Benjy, Bracksten, and Gracie. Jeremy enjoys sports of all kinds, both watching and participating. The Carr family is close and very much enjoys spending time together, including rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners (but please don’t hold that against them) and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jeremy accepted God’s call to be a pastor in 1991 and graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1997. He then attended Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Jeremy bases his philosophy of ministry on two passages of Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-12 and I Corinthians 11:1. He believes that the church of Jesus Christ was meant to evangelize the lost and build the redeemed in holiness. This is accomplished through the two biblical standards of these passages. The role of the pastor is to model the life of Christ and equip the believers for ministry.” Jeremy has served as a youth pastor for 13 years in Tulsa, OK; Kansas City, KS; Pasadena, TX, and Junction City, KS. He went on to hold the Lead Pastor position at Oakcliff Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City, OK.
